Accessibility statement
We want Keepcompany to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard only, or a magnified screen. This statement says where the site stands today, honestly.
What we aim for
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. This statement covers the public website you are reading. The app itself is not open to the public yet; it will get its own statement before it is.
What has been checked
Every page of this site has been tested with automated tools (axe-core against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rule sets) at both desktop and phone widths, and by hand for the things tools cannot see. As of 21 September 2026:
- no automated issues on any page, at 1280 pixels and at 320 pixels wide;
- no sideways scrolling at 200% and 400% zoom;
- text spacing can be overridden without anything being cut off;
- every page declares its language, has one main heading, and does not skip heading levels;
- a skip link to the main content;
- a visible focus outline on everything you can reach with a keyboard;
- no JavaScript anywhere, so nothing here depends on scripting.
Where we fall short
We would rather tell you than let you find out:
- No testing with assistive technology yet. Nobody has gone through these pages with NVDA, VoiceOver or TalkBack. Automated tools miss much of what matters to a screen-reader user, so treat the above as a floor, not a promise.
- Dark background only. There is no light or high-contrast version yet, and we do not yet react to a system setting for increased contrast.
- Windows High Contrast mode is untested. Our focus outline uses a custom colour, and we have not confirmed it survives forced colours.
- Small links inside sentences. Navigation and footer links are large enough to hit comfortably. A link inside a sentence is as big as the text around it, which WCAG allows, but it is smaller.
Telling us about a barrier
If something here does not work for you, write to support@keepcompany.ai. Tell us the page and what happened; a screenshot helps but is not needed.
We answer within five working days, and we will tell you what we can fix and by when. If a fix will take longer, we say so rather than going quiet.
The legal position
The European Accessibility Act, in Germany the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, applies to certain digital services from 28 June 2025. It exempts micro-enterprises — fewer than ten people and under two million euros a year — from the duties for services. Keepcompany is one person, so the duties do not currently bind us.
We publish this statement anyway, and we work to the standard anyway, because the exemption is about the law and not about the people using the site. If the company grows past that threshold, the exemption stops applying and this statement becomes a duty rather than a choice.
When this was last checked
21 September 2026. We check again whenever the site changes, and at least every six months.
